This is related to [webmasterworld.com...] but I think it deserves its own section.

Converting your pages so they don’t scroll more than half a page will earn you more money for less click throughs.

In addition to this another good reason to split your pages up is that Googlebot only indexes the first 101k of each webpage. Other bots have similar size limits.

Splitting pages will allow Googlebot to index the content past the first 101k of a large page.

Alternatively you can compress you html so that it is less that 101K for each page. Absolute HTML Compressor is a good freeware app to do this. Removes extra white spaces, unnecessary tags etc.

From experience I know that many publishers don't know about these indexing limits.

If your pages are above 101K, you have more problems than just AdSense. Besides, I don't think that Googles limit has been 101K for a long time [webmasterworld.com...] as I have run across larger pages once in awhile.. maybe it's at different times or for testing.

Breaking up pages for usability is one thing...I always remember that every $1.00 I make on AdSense someone has paid for it (AdWords) and believe they should get the most bang-for-the-buck and not from some publisher trying to earn more by using one method or another.
