Ive got a series of models with an associated picture in a series of directories with subdirectories such as described below:

Anatomy
.Human
..homer
...homer.jpg
...homer.smd

Animal
.Dog
..pitbull
...dog.jpg
...dog.smd

..s*hitzu
...dog.jpg
...dog.smd

.Cat
..persian
...cat1.jpg
...cat1.smd

..siamese
...cat.jpg
...cat.smd

Vehicle
.4x4
..4x4.jpg
..4x4.smd

I am wondering if there is a tool that could generate a series of thumbnails from the jpegs that have the same directory structure above eg the top level page will have:

Anatomy
Animal
Vehicle

Then when you click on animal you will see
dog
cat

Then when you click on dog you see
pitbull
#*$!zu

with there associated thumbnail. There should be an associated link with each thumbnail that links to each smd model so it can be downloaded. Is there such a program that could generate the html that could do this? Thanks.

Your approach would probably depend on whether you want to have the program running on your local PC or on your server. I would imagine that it would be easiest to have it running on your server, as then you can just upload the photos straight to your site.

In that case, you would need to find/write/buy a script that would do what you require. I've not yet seen anything that would fulfil your need, so you might have to write a script yourself. Alternatively, you could hire a programmer to do it for you.
