Know someone about this Zeus - "Web Site Traffic building Robot" - as they name it. I know I was on that site before and I think this tool is not helpful. Now somebody ask me about it. I would really appreciate if somebody can tell me any experiences with this thingy...bad or good.
I think they promote their self and this is the one and only reason this thing exist...
Their website is cyber-robotics.com

Yes, there has been a lot of discussion about it here. The WebmasterWorld Site Search [searchengineworld.com] should give you more information than you want to know. Just search for zeus... ;)

Andy,

don't be too quick to write Zeus off. It is a useful tool if used carefully and wisely. Brett sums it up quite nicely in this thread [webmasterworld.com] by saying "It was an interesting and unique product. Unfortunatly, they tied it in with an autospamer routine that ticked everyone off."

It is a Spider that work quite well if trained correctly. Some people here have used it to find appropriate sites and then built their own directories or links from there.

However, the auto-email section seems to have caused trouble. The challenge with it is that people think it is the easy way out to build link popularity and press all the buttons without thinking of the consequesnces. Used wisely it can be a great assett.

thanks for all the help, I'm not sure if I use this tool, my site is well listed in Google and I depend on my Google listings, I don't take the risk for a few more links, as for the people who ask me about it I'll tell them what I think and what risk is involved and they can make their own decisions, anyway, thanks for all the respond, Andy

Andy, based on the findings in the "themeindex penalty" thread, I wouldn't use Zeus to upload links or create any web content - at least until Google issues some kind of definitive statement (if they ever do). The spidering and contact management features can be used without search engine risk, but please don't spam people!
