Blogging Software or Script

I am developing a new web site for myself and I want to put a blog on it, but I don't want to use on of the free off site blogs. I would rather have it right on my page.

Does anyone know any good blogging software out there that I could integrate right on my page and isn't too complicated to install or use, I am not really a programmer.

My first choice would be a free open source type of script, but I am open to anything. If you have implemented and used something you really like please share it.

We've had quite a few threads about blogging software [google.com] lately. You'll probably find some good solutions there.

I'm partial to MovableType myself.
