Hi,

I'm having a bit of difficulty when a customer orders.

The problem is that something isn't getting passed through

First, the customer places his order by giving his information. I get confirmation of that, That part works fine.

Then, on the next screen, the customer marks the type of widget that they would like and then hit
"next". It won't process that page , I get a
"server error" message.

You will have to provide a bit more detail, like answering the questions below.

What type of web server is this running on?

What scripting language is the page written?

What browser are you using?

Have you switched on debugging in the web site to get a more detailed error message? You may also need to switch of "Show friendly HTTP error messages" under Internet Options, Advanced, if you are using IE.

Well I'm afraid without answering those sorts of questions we won't be able to help you.

Do you have a contract with the firm or person that set your web site up?
Or can you hire another professional to look at the problem?

If so try that route.
