I'm looking for an open source CMS that offers the following:

• PHP/MySQL based
• Creates & Manages Content Categories (& Sub-Cats)
• Generates SE-friendly URLs
• Allows for Multiple Authors
• Offers a WYSIWYG-ish text editor for authors

Right now, I'm ready to just take my existing site of 150 articles or so and just make each article a blog in a new blogger account and use that. I know it would let others post to it, can be customized and can also allow SE friendly URLs. The categories though, I'm not too sure about.

I just installed Drupal for my cousin who's got sites on the same box as mine, so I know that's an option too. I tried out Drupal, but wasn't impressed. I like things to to work quickly.

Finally, would there be any ramifications of transferring existing articles over to a new system so long as I set up the proper 302 redirects with .htaccess?

Thanks!

Have you been to the OpenSourceCMS site to try some of the systems for yourself?

Look into Mambo
Also, you should use 301 redirects if it's a permanent location change.
