MSN Hotmail offered me several times the possibility to give me more space for Hotmail mails, but NOT free!!

I didn't reply: I want an Hotmail account for exactly what they offer.

Recently I received thie email from Msn Hotmail.

"We are sorry to inform you that as of July 16, 2002, we will no longer be able to offer POP Mail Retrieval to Hotmail users in your area. This means that you will not be able to aggregate e-mail from various accounts into a single Hotmail account."

What does exectly it means?
Will I lose my MSN Hotmail account?

It means you cannot check other pop3 mail accounts. You will still have web based hotmail. You just cannot check other email accounts you might have that are not hotmail with hotmail.

I believe the theory behind this change (also happening at other free email systems) is no income is generated from POP access because no advertising. Thus, they need to charge money.
