Hi everyone,

I have two sites, both of the same subject (non-commercial). One is our information site, directory, articles, pictures, etc. The second site is our group for people to see what we have done and such.

Now, both sites are hosting with the same company and both domains were bought from that same company.

What I want to do is take our group site - www.myothersite.org - and make it a sub-domain of our main site - www.mysite.org. No problems there.

However, I want to keep the domain name for www.myothersite.org.

So, how do I set it up so that when a visitor clicks on a link for www.MyOtherSite.org, but they are taken to www.myothersite.mysite.org all the while seeing www.myothersite.org in the browser? Another words, I don't want visitors to know they are going to a sub-domain.

I have cPanel for my hosting company. Any help on what I need to do to accomplish this would be great. I basically want to dump one hosting bill (for www.myothersite.org). I figure there's redirect and masking involved, but do not have experience with either of them.

Thank you in advance!

If your motive is to reduce hosting costs a new host that allows the hosting of multiple domains under one account might be a consideration. Otherwise check to see if your domain registrar has controls that will let you forward the domain to the new site. If they don't then you'll want to consider DNS hosting options for the old domain.
