Hey everyone, I'm looking for some recommendations for good cd-based training sites. I work for a non-profit and we're really going to be hurting with the budget cuts coming up. I want to learn Flash and am hoping maybe eventually we'll be able to develop some basic training presentations/exercises using it. So instead of taking a $1,300 training, I'd like to learn by some self-study and maybe even do some cd-based training.

Does anyone have any good resources they'd recommend?

Thanks!

If you're willing to do some hunting, most knowledge can be had for free on the internet.

There are tutorials for all kinds of stuff out there, and if needed you can buy a half-price used book from amazon.com.

Unless the software is ultra technical and not in the consumer market, there are free tutorials aplenty.

For Flash: www.flashkit.com is a good place to start.
For web stuff: www.w3schools.com

Also, look to the local community college for software training - much less than $1300 a class, and much more effective.
