Transfering from host to host

Hello All,

Sorry if this has been asked before, but is there an easy way to ftp from one host directly to another?

I have approximately 100megs to transfer. Unfortunately I am still on dial up, so it would take hours to upload it all again..

I know cute ftp Pro lets you do this ( it isn't free )..there are others maybe even some free ones?

Some hosters will even do it for you ..ask the hoster that you are going to move to?

If you 've got ssh access to both machines, scp will do it for you. Whilst logged in via ssh, try

man scp 

for details.
