I had created a few different Folders within my main Inbox where I stored mail messages for different topics and from different senders.
I have found the relevant .dbx files which are still located on my C drive (C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings etc etc) but I can't seem to copy them back to my Inbox.
I have tried File/Import/Messages/Microsoft Outlook Express 6/Import Mail from an OE6 Stored Directory/
but when I come to the option to choose which Directories to import, it only gives me the standard choice of importing the Inbox (not any of the special folders, Sent Items etc etc, it does NOT give me the option to import my specially created sub-folders.
Can anyone suggest how I can get the mail messages back into my Inbox and/or special folders again?
Yours hopefully.
The Tools menu had the following options:-
Map Network Drive
Disconnect Network Drive
Synchronize
Folder Options
It's puzzling because although the email messages no longer show in OE6, they are still in the usual place on the C drive?

It's not free but it is cheap and it works well.
Its just that I can't seem to copy them back to my Inbox.
