I have recently discovered your great website and was hoping someone out there could give me a point in the right direction concerning IP identification.

As a project I have to identify the IP's connected with 5 major ISP's (this is not for a spam mailing as I am not trying to locate actual individual IP's) What I am after is very much like the site www.iplists.com but that is only for search engines.

For example I have found that AOL uses the following

64.12.96
64.12.97
64.12.101
64.12.102
........etc

What I was hoping for is the address of a website that would give the proxy IP address for
BT open world, freeserve, Pippex and Compuserve.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Welcome to the board. What it sounds like you are after is identifying ip blocks and who owns them. Which means you have some research/reading to do. Start by diggin around about Arin and Ripe. That will start you down the path of understanding how ips are allocated and figuring out who owns which blocks.
