We need to hire a SEO firm to manage one of our 8 sites. What questions should I be asking them? If they promise the top 3 in our industry in the big three search engines, do I run away from them?
I found one that a local competitor is using. I noticed that their website has moved up in rankings. I contacted one of their clients out of state to get some feedback and they love the company. The out of state client has moved up in the rankings by an agressive back link campaign.
Does anyone have a list of 10 questions to ask?

you will be amazed how many SREP companies cant get a decent website for themselves
