My site has been up and running for the past three years and normally, Alexa shows the correct thumbnail image for my site.

However, I've just noticed that the image is now showing a thumbnail of a site that isn't mine (don't think I can post the URL of this site)

Is this something i should worry about?

One possible reason (just a hunch) is that your site is being 301 hijacked. There are a few threads about it it here at WW. Basically it's when another site scrapes some of your keyword rich content and uses a 301 redirect to your site, gaining your PR and SERP ranking.

Might wish to do a link:www.your_domain.com search in Google and check out every site linking to yours.

I would also have Alexa get your thumbnail image again, it could just be a mix-up. There's a utility to do that on the 'site info' page.
