Anyone here who has managed a project?

Hi,
I submitted a project to Sourceforge and was approved.
However I am a bit lost on what to do next.
Any pointers on how to set up the site and the project will be greatly appreciated.

I started one a few years back. I think you need to connect to the webspace via SSH - there are lots of docs on the site which tell you everything about it.
Uploading files is done by FTP to there incomming folder and adding it to you project via an online for in your projects admin area (files section).

To be honest its not the easiest to manage, but it works very well.

So basically, you will find everything you need from the SF site docs. Im sure there has been several updated to the site since I last used it.

Good Luck

Hi stuartc1,

Thank you for the feedback. I am going through the documentation. It is quite interesting. I tried to ftp to the account but haven't managed yet. Would the username and password be my Sourceforge username and password?
Would the ftp address be:

myproject.Sourceforge.net

the same as the web space provided?

I will do my reading and figure it out.
Again thank you for the feedback.
