Yesterday i switched a site to a new dedicated server. At first all mail got through. Now a few isp's are bouncing my emails sent me with:

Sorry, I couldn't find any host by that name. (#4.1.2)

Now all my tests show the email address to resolve and work correctly. Emails i send from other accounts get through fine. Testing from dnstuff dotcom shows everything resolves corectly. Dont understand this at all.

and this is weird too:
a reverse dns search on the ip through dnsstuff says the server name
server.mydoain.com
has no 'a' record which it does. If i do a direct search for the 'a' record of server.mydoain.com it shows the correct ip.

You might check with the hosting company where your ded is located to make sure they've created a PTR record for your domain.

Also, I believe that reverse dns entries can take longer to propagate. The issue might resolve itself in a day or two.
