Site blacklisted? Site not accessible by some

Various people from different parts of the country are saying they can't access my site. I have no problems accessing it here but from the cornell campus 2 miles from my house people can't get on. They do a tracert and ittimse out way before getting anywhere near my server.

I did a dns spam check
[dnsstuff.com...]

and only see my site coming up on red at one place:
FIVETENIGNORE
[should not be used]

but it says "should not be used" and the dates listed are from a long time ago.

So is there another list that shows sites that are blacklisted for some reason? I can't tell if my site is blacklisted or not but people from various parts of the country can not get on it.

Users on my site started a thread talking about being blocked from various places but I have no idea what to do to rectify the problem. My host says it has nothing to do with them. Here's the thread

<snip>

I'm at a loss as to whay I should do.

Thanks for any input.

So it's likely a DNS-related problem. Either your DNS info is not being published correctly, or a node in the network between these non-connecting users and your server is broken. Find the last 'step' in the tracert that looks like it is functioning correctly and contact them first -- after you check your DNS Zone file to make sure it is correct.
