I got this SEO newsletter today announcing some guaranteed way of making money with <snip>. What is this, I thought SEO was a reputable organization. This looks like some sort of spam. Please let me know if anybody got this? Thank you.

SEO is short for Search Engine Optimization; it is not an organization.

Ok, so I thought those SEO news emails were reputable as the previous emails I've received.

Some SEO newsletters are very high quality and informative, but all of those that I know of are opt-in, and some aren't. If you recieved an unsolicited one then it's probably more like spam. Block, delete and forget ;)

Decide what you want to accomplish with and accordingly keep it and learn that portion of your business only.
