how do you implement a "Call me now!" function on oyur website? Do you use just a form to enter the phone number and send it via email to the recipient(s)? Or doe you implement anything more sophisticated?
Does it work? Does it get used by the visitors? What timeframe for the callback do you try to reach?
It's just an ASP form - Onclick... we get an e-mail with their phone number and they are served a simple response page with conformation of their number so they can re-enter it if they made a mistake and a short thank you message informing them that somebody will contact them within 24hours (weekends excluded)
We always get back to them - sometimes within minutes - that gives them a surprise :)
Something more sophistcated that texts them a thankyou message has been pondered but not until we get over 1000 requests will it be viable
Note: UK landlines can now receive texts too - they are read back by a wierd electrolady
