This may be a stupid question, but how can I convert a .pdf file to a .jpg image? The .pdf contains a picture which I would like to add to my site. I have the free recent version of Adobe reader and Paintshop Pro, but I am not able to convert the file. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Hello... there are many ways... helps to be using pro software like adobe acrobat, adobe photoshop, fireworks etc. I'm not familiar with paintshop

Here a round-about way I just discovered using adobe reader: Use the Select Tool or snapshot tool to select the image you want in the pdf, right click and copy it, paste it onto a new word document, "save as" a new html page. Open up the page in your browser, right click on the image and then "save image as" the jpg it is.

I'm sure there are many variations... using the "Prt Sc" to copy your entire screen to clipboard is something i just discovered a few months back. "That's what that button up there is for..."

Have fun!

Or you could put the pdf image on screen and then take a screen capture that you paste into your image editor.

I would suggest just do Alt-PrtSc. It's probably the easiest way to do it.
