hi people

I have some issues with my website and PR, so i thought why not to take some expert and specialized help from this forum.

The problem is my website use to have PR6 and was getting very good traffic and suddenly after the latest google updates, it went down to PR4.
My site is indexed in open directory and few more good directory, and we always update our site.

I think the mistake is mine and was not following the latest ways and optimizing the site according to googles algorithms, however may be its my mistake of making the site more user friendly and lack of latest search engine optimization skills made my site go down.

Few more information what i have collected is my site is having header, footer and frame kind of stuff in left for category navigation, sorry for my this kind language because i dont know much about php codes.
I am using postnuke script for my website.

please suggest me some way out and tips and tricks to get my site back to the way it used to be before.

I have checked in google and it has indexed many pages of my sites and the link looks some thing like this www.widget.com/PrintArticle479. phtml?POSTNUKESID=9fb15a6554e6005b64da0e276
so is it good if its like this?

and what about the footer of my site it looks some thing like frames so if google indexing 1700 pages of sites would it also consider the links in footer?

because i do cross linking through footer, so if my website's link is there in footer it should show 1700 pages linking to that site right? but it's not :(

could you please tell me what should i do to make them count and to make google index all pages and also consider the links on all pages.

after writing so much even i am bit confused so if you are confused please pm me so that i can send the site link and you can check it by your own.

all kinds of suggestions and comments will be highly appreciated.

It seems that Google is looking at your footer as one page. So even though the footer is on all 1700 pages of your site, because you put it into a frame, Google sees it as one page. That could be your problem.

Hope this helps.

I haven't used PostNuke before, but I think if there is a footer option somewhere it the program, you should change it to directly link to each of the main pages of your site, instead of placing the links in an Iframe. I wish I could help more, but I use Dreamweaver, and it provides adequate tools to easily change page footers.

I hope this helps. Good luck!
