I know its a bit of a duff question, but I was trying to get a feeling for how much traffic comes from 1st page of search results, against the 2nd page, agaisnt the 3rd etc etc.
I'd guess that page 1 gets, 80%, page 2 gets 15 %, page 3 gets 4%...
Does anyone have a any stats on that?
There are lots of stats on this subject, however, statistics can prove anything. It varies so much for different search terms that is impossible to say. However, I could take a very educated guess and say your getting under 10% of your potential traffic. Therefore, my advice would be to push forward. After all, if you are content and do nothing, then new comers will quickly overtake you in the SERP's.

What is your competition like above you? Will they satisfy your potential customers or is it all not relevant?
In my area I would say 10% is generous. General experience says if it is not on the first page, the searcher types in a new phrase.
