Their standard rate is £35 for 2 years and the £7.99 deal is for reseller bulk purchases of domain names. Nominet charge £5 for domain registration. So £35 for registration, parking and e-mail forwarding with no release fee when you transfer to an ISP isn't too bad. See [domains2000.co.uk...]
That sounds expensive these days. I bought three .co.uk domains a couple of weeks back, and they cost £5.98 + VAT for first 2 years i.e. £2.99 / year. That's not a bulk price or anything. Here's the url www.123-reg.co.uk (no connection...just a user)
