In Inktomi through Zeal.

Any benefit to paying Looksmart

Our site is fully indexed by Inktomi because we have a free listing through Zeal. I would like to know if by paying Looksmart will this benefit us with regards to positioning in MSN.

Inktomi doesn't have anything to do with Zeal/Looksmart.

If you are already in Zeal you are already in Looksmart. There's no reason to pay $15/month to LS, unless you wanted to be listed in multiple cats, and were unable to swing it for free thru Zeal.

What is the deal with MSN UK? Can you get in Inktomi without paying as we seem to have done?

2 months ago I launched a new 'not-for-profit' site with 1000+ pages.

It got 'Zealed' and within a month 800+ pages were included in Inktomi.

I know its possible that there is no connection, but it seems unlikely. Either way, I am not complaining:)
