ask.co.uk now powered by Teoma

Pointing out change to ask.co.uk

I just did a search at ask.co.uk and it now seems to be using teoma for its results. The top three are still espotting then Teoma. This is V good news for me as we appear to have been delisted by Jeeves in the UK but Teoma places us at No.1

i'm also seeing identical results on askjeeves.com and askjeeves.co.uk although askjeeves.com appears to use directhit and askjeeves.co.uk appears to use teoma. check the status bar on the bottom of your browsers when holding the mouse over a link to see what i mean.

This must have happen within the last few weeks, as I've been seeing a steady increase in traffic from ask but I've not looked into why, you've just saved me that job, cheers ;0)

Great news for me - all my stuff seems to do well in Teoma (which obviously means its a great search engine with a strong focus on quality)

I like the way they put the url in bold on the SERP.

For less competitive search queries it seems Teoma likes titles a lot..

shame that you still have to scroll down and then click on "Show UK Websites only" ;(

I would have thought that it was quite obvious a user using ASK.co.uk would be searching for UK results mainly.

maybe I am missing something ???
