Only went live today so too early to tell. The keyword we have should do around 40,000 impressions over the 12 months so on the surface it was good value. We rank very well at Lycos, it was more for a bit of branding and to stop someone who can't rank buying it than a play for big traffic.

We have bought our two main keyphrases, have been running for a few months, not as much traffic as we would have liked, cost about £300 each, plus £10 a month charge.

We paid for one phrase which it turned out we weren't allowed as it was a 'reserved' word so we had to choose another one.

- Just be careful and get them to confirm in writing that your phrases aren't reserved

Also the problem is that the lycos banner links to the touch site where your company details are shown with a link to your site so the user has to make two clicks which doesn't look too professional.

Not with ours, they click straight through.

Has anyone got anymore feed back on this as I'm considering this for myself & maybe a few clients?
