I couldn't see this posted in any of the obvious areas but I am now getting the top 3 Overture UK listings appearing at the top of Yahoo.com! Interesting - I thought that would be prime turf for espotting.

And 10 minutes later - they disappeared :)

Perhaps they are trying to split it between the two and offer different results, I've just checked with yahoo.com & I'm still seeing my clients overture bids

Yes - they seem to be switching in and out - 3 at the top and 2 at the bottom when they are there. A little more difficult to distinguish as sponsored links as opposed to the Yahoo UK ones.
Now watch the bids go up!

Are they doing any checking your location before serving the results?
I am not happy at paying for clicks from outside the UK - if I wanted that I would have used Overture.com

A quick check using a US based proxy server seems to suggest that they are trying to restrict the Overture UK searches to UK visitors.
Can anyone outside the UK please confirm this? (ie - that the Overture UK results do NOT appear in your SERP)

Outside UK (from Italy), Overture UK doesn't appear.
It appears Espotting.

Thanks Angiolo,
The confusion is over Yahoo.com, I guess you are checking Yahoo.co.uk, which shows Espotting here as well.
Are you seeing Overture UK on Yahoo.com?

I'm on satellite broadband via a German ISP in the office and do not get Overture UK via this connection - so it appears limited to surfers using UK ISPs. My initial observation was via my ISDN connection at home via BT.
