I've started to get referals from aol.co.uk across all of my sites today that I wasn't getting yesterday.

All of the search queries look rather Google like to me, however when I go and check them at aol.co.uk the same old Inktomi results are showing with my sites nowhere to be seen.

Has anyone else noticed this happening?

nick,

Sorry about that, I used the term Yahoogle whilst pretty much on autopilot. You are quite right though, Yahoogle is where Google results appeared on Yahoo.

I analyse the plain text log files in script, if a referer string contains 'google' i then check from the presence of 'yahoo' as well - if it is there then the yahoogle total goes up by one and if not the google total up by one.

How come the Brits get all the fun first? This is what? The forth or fifth time that se switches have launched in the UK first.

Still startling to see that 'google' on that domain isn't it?

What is so troubling, is that I can't find but a trickle of traffic from it.

I wouldn't worry about it Brett, they just know that the Brits are good testers.

Anyway, as for traffic it is good for me as I have generally very uk specific sites. On my one site of international appeal 22 of my 18,000 visitors yesterday were from aol.co.uk yet a uk site with 2,000 visitors had 140 from aol.co.uk
