I have just stumbled across DealTime on Ask Jeeves.

Having had a look at DealTime, it is pretty useless. All the searches I put in, came up with totally irrelevant results. Even going thru their categories is not much better.

What I need to know is, has anyone used them to improve their traffic via Ask Jeeves and is it worth looking into. Is anyone getting any traffic at all via them. Or is it just a total waste of time.

Dealtime seems to be some sort of shopping site, not a search engine!

Agreed, so why is Ask Jeeves using it?

Because Dealtime pay Ask a percentage each time a customer comes through of course. Like any other form of advertising on a search engine, its about money.
