One of our clients has a WAP site and requires to be submitted to WAP search engines does anyone know how to go about this please.

Check out JimTools [jimtools.com]. There's a free WAP directory submission service available, but you can ignore that and use the list of WAP directories to submit by hand. There aren't that many so it shouldn't take too long. It's all very similar to regular directory submission.

Do you know how I submit to YahooWAP I have had a look around Yahoo WAP but there does not appear to be much around on how you do it..
Any ideas folks?

Submit it to Google just the normal way. It will autodetect that it is a wap site and list it in the wap portion of the se. It think most of them are starting to work this way.

Do WAP sites have meta tags like with normal sites.
What are the best ways to optimize them????

Not much help at the minute Adam but I'm just about to start looking at this area, back end of this week.

BTW - try webtop - i think they have a separate WAP DB.
