Anyway, thanks to my useless web host, my email system was down and I didn't get the rejection email from Yahoo.
So I was wondering what email address I would use to appeal against the rejection?
Thank you very much.

Unfortunately, I didn't get a refusal email from them. Because of my web host - no fault of mine, believe me - our email system was down for the first time in two years.
So I don't have an email address to appeal to. Tried writing to various other Yahoo! addresses, but no response.
Does anybody know what the address would be for Yahoo! UK? I'd be most grateful.
Would your web host have a copy on their server? They sure as heck should I would think. If not, whatever the yahoo customer service number is there I'd dial it and speak with someone.
I experienced the same problem you did with them not being able to see my site in NN4. After waiting for about 25 minutes on the phone, I got through to someone and then left a voice mail with an editor and made sure I got a couple of names that I could use in the follow-up email. The next day the site was accepted. This was in the U.S. so unfortuantely I don't have a number for you.
Anyone in the UK have yahoo's number?
I asked the man for an email address to appeal to. I wrote it down very carefully, and even confirmed it with him, but whenever I write to it - bizex850@uk.yahoo-inc.com - my email gets sent back.
I will try writing to the email address suggested by Chris, but is there any other variation of the email address I've quoted above that I may try? Maybe there's a mistake in it?
I believe I have a month to appeal and I've only got about three days left!
Thank you...
First of all, I would like to offer my appreciation for the assistance provided by people on this forum, particularly 'Jaze'.
I received an email which said: "After reviewing your appeal, we are
pleased to announce that your site has been added to Yahoo! UK & Ireland." etc. etc., so, yes, the site did get in, which I'm delighted about :)
Still haven't seen it in the directory, however. How long does it usually take?
FYI, the acceptance email came from bizex800@yahoo-inc.com
Looks like Yahoo! editors keep changing their email addresses to stop us harrassing them?!
Thanks once again for everyone on this forum who kindly offered their help in checking the site on Macs and providing the contact email address for Yahoo!
I won't mention the site, because that might be considered to be a plug, but Yahoo! have included my description exactly as I requested, packed full of keywords:
"offers reviews of new cinema and DVD releases, features, galleries, polls, and competitions"
I'm delighted! I thought the editor might have shortened it, but s/he didn't :)
I've been making a loss on the site until now; hopefully a Yahoo listing will increase traffic to it and help me earn some revenue. Some webmasters have reported a doubling of their traffic from a Yahoo listing: I wouldn't mind that :)
