This camera driven search tool, using similar augmented reality technology to Pokemon GO, could become the next new thing in search - looks like it could become really good for identification tasks and finding out background information about places. The London based company is already valued at over USD 1 billion.

I've been testing this augmented reality and, although the test it limited, it was interesting to see how it might work on a broader scale.

I tested some generic items and discovered some interesting links. I'm not entirely sure how all those links are related, but, I guess there's some AI going on.

I can see how this might work in education, or in parts identification, or in health, etc.

It may have an interesting future.
