I really don't know where all the Net Trolls would be jailed!

Internet trolls could face up to two years in jail under new laws, Justice Secretary Chris Grayling has said.

He told the Mail on Sunday quadrupling the current maximum six-month term showed his determination to "take a stand against a baying cyber-mob". UK: Net Trolls May Get Up to Two Years In Jail [bbc.co.uk]

They would be jailed in the same place as all the other UK criminals such as burglars, rapists, murderers: in their own homes/squats. :(

I suspect that most of the people doing the trolling don't believe they can get caught. Just making a few examples might make some of the perpetrators sit up and think before hitting the submit button.

It might make some sit up, but thinking is probably not their strong point.

Existing law provides for a 6 month jail term anyway, how many have served time?

Populist announcements from politicians are not the same as action.

And anonymously threatening people is not "trolling".
