This is no substitute for actually being there, which is far more rewarding than looking n a computer screen. Perhaps I just don't get it. ;)

The Peak District will become the first UK National Park to have its trails and hard-to-reach locations captured on Google's Street View technology.

When planning a route by car I check any problamatic junctions in advance with StreetView so that I will recognise them. When hill walking I reply on compass bearings.
