SearchEngine.com in the Top 10 ??

Hi Guys

Sorry to go back over old ground but SearchEngine.com reckon that they are in the top ten search engines/facilities in the UK.

Yet where are the results. Does anyone believe they are in the top ten and are they getting any results.

Could they be a Google in the making. Come from almost nowhere to be No. 1.

Am I missing something? The directory appears to be just another of ODP's downstream SE/Directories. I saw nothing exciting at all about it; nothing that would prompt me to use it over any other ODP affiliate.

The search engine is an Ixquick search, and certainly not any better than Ixquick, DogPile or any of a dozen others.

No novelty, no new technology, no reason to use it, is there?

I'd believe it. It's a nice name, something people are likely to type. It's a nice site, nice results. I'd use it.

Doubt it. I’m lucky if I get hit once a month from them

They also show espotting as well

Doesn't searchengine.com have their own db.

yes they do, you can also fast track it for £75, but that's something I've never done

I doubt I get even 5 hits a month from searchengine.com combined, across all of the sites I maintain.
They're not even in the top 20 at the moment for me!
