Microsoft's Bing search engine grew in popularity throughout July in the UK but Google still dominates the search engine market, according to research by market analyst Experian Hitwise.
Research from Experian Hitwise released August 8 shows that from June to July the share of searches conducted by Microsoft search engines - most notably Bing - grew by 0.96 percent, accounting for 3.84 percent of all searches conducted in the UK in July. The popularity of Microsoft search engines was also seen to have experienced a year-on-year increase of 0.67 percent.
