I just wondered if anyone has noticed a general drop in UK traffic during the last 3 days. I am seeing about a 30% drop across 8 sites.

It is hard to tell but there's generally a slowdown in traffic towards the end of the week with some of my sites. Google might be playing around with algorithm changes.

I took a sample. Compared to the previous Friday, there was a slight dip, but, again, it's hard to be sure in the short term if that is important. Overall, the traffic is up over the previous week.

Yes We have noticed traffic drop starting from april, no major changes on site structure + google adwords as usual that was in march (march was good) but starting from april.. the traffic and conversion drop drastically, any ideas why?

I suggest there might be some connection with the lack of travel due to the volcanic ash... some potential buyers might be stuck some place else.

we've also just had the warmest few days of the year, people are outside or doing other things not on the computer.

do you think these reasons may be valid? just wondering is it me or most of the UK sites seeing this trend, if this is not UK traffic drop issue then it must be with our site or traffic sources...
Let me know your suggestions Kashyap

This weekend was very quiet for my site. I suspect that the lovely weather had a lot to do with it.
