Help - Masses of pages not indexed

Hi there,

im having trouble getting my site's pages indexed by google. Ive submitted sitemap,s google base feeds, used canonical rel tags and tried lots of other things too however out of around 3000 pages, only 400ish are indexed.

Our in-house editor has been writing lengthy product descriptions and we've made every effort to ensure that theres no dupe content and that each page is significantly unique with text etc.

any help is appreciated.

I don't know how much time you've given it, but, i'd watch to see if the page count is going up, even if slowly.
