Nominet announced this afternoon the first six organisations to receive funding grants for innovative projects to make a positive difference to society through the development of the internet.

They are
The British Computer Association of the Blind
The Internet Society
Childnet
The Cambridge Global Grid for Learning
Cambridge Library Services
Youthnet
