Uk& Ireland Yahoo

Submitting site too soon!

Hi everyone,
this is my first posting.
So apologies if you've been there, done that :)
On the 22nd Aug, I submitted my site to Yahoo UK & Ireland and received an email confirmation on the 29th Aug.

Great! you say. Problem is, I was led to believe it would take at least six weeks before they would even look at it.

Problem is, my site is still under construction and won't be A1 till at least another week.

Should I continue submitting to other Directories/Search Engines or not...?

Has anyone else had a similar experience?

I would appreciate any advice.

It's a bit late to say this now, and won't be any comfort, but, always ensure the site is finished and working before submitting to yahoo editors. It's one of the first things they will review, before moving on to content.

Of course, if they've already reviewed it and it's rejected, then the horse has bolted.
