Advice on getting into MSN index needed

Although I have a LookSmart listing generating the occassional referal from MSN, I have failed to appear in the main index.

I see from other discussions that MSN appear to be an important UK player.

Several sites that link to mine have been re-indexed and can be found when searching on my website names, but still nothing from my sites!

I've been submitting to Inktomi for around 3 months initially via Canada.com, then UKMax and now Hotbot. Which Inktomi SE gets you into their database the fastest?

Can anyone give me some feedback on the Inktomi pay for play service? If they re-index you more frequently does it enable you to tune your pages more easily?

The spidering of my directory sites by Google and Fast has been excellent, and with about over 2,000 pages indexed across my 2 sites, I get a reasonable level of 'bottom feeding' referals.

MSN is my main traffic provider followed very closely by Google

If your looking to get into Ink the only real way is to pay check out some of the recent postings in the inktomi forum you will find all your answers there

My own past experience with PT has been very good, although it now also looks like you'll have to get some bids onto GoTo also.

It depends on whether your concerned with msn.co.uk or msn.com.

msn.co.uk == looksmart.co.uk required plus Inktomi for page 2+

msn.com == looksmart.com plus Inktomi for page 2+

Thats right -- 2 listings, 2 lots of payment :(
