IMHO it's not worth 'submitting' to ANY search engines although directories might be another story

Instead, spend your time getting some inbound links and the search engine bots will surely follow.

I have never ever submitted any of my sites to any search engines, since when I arrange the inbound links the bots come calling pretty quickly... although YMMV, I suppose.

I'm with webdoctor - it's only relevant directories that may require submissions.
