LookSmart Express Submit - worth it?

Any experience with handing over 99sobs + VAT ??
How much traffic is coming from LS? Is it on the up or down?

I don't think I've had more than 1 or 2 referals from Looksmart UK itself but the traffic from MSN UK is great. Excite UK is worth a few referals a day and AV UK's directory a couple a week. So all in all I've found it worth it for my clients so far.

I tried them in November. After a couple of months of first not being indexed and then not finding the site under categories, an email to and from them gave me the explanation that they were 'having trouble with their search engine'

The site - well ranked across the board, still only occasionally shows under a category - mostly inktomi results.

No traffic from them but as makemetop says, it is worth it for MSN. Excite UK has only just picked it up.

I know you get a boost in Google for a Looksmart.com listing, but I don't know about LS.uk. Anyone know how Google ranks a LS.uk listing?

I am already getting top 5 spots but from Inktomi on LS itself. However I seem to have been some KW's (just re-checked )sunk by BT LS search which seems strange. Seems it should pay for itself just for the MSN connection........assuming they list me :)
