Default Google UK results

are they "the web" or "pages from the UK"?

I just got a client who is based in the UK. I am based in the US.

I am wondering what Google SERPs the UK users see by default.

From the US, I can go to Google UK and search either "the web" or "pages from the UK". The default is "the web", but is this because I am geographically outside of the UK? The results are quite different searching either.

Does anyone have any rough percentages of which option people use to search?

Installed and running.

Now what exactly do I do with it to see Google UK results that a real UK user would see by default?

I'm sorry - that was a bit over my head. Could you pretend you're talking to a 10 year old, how exactly do you connect with a proxy once you have that proxy toolbar installed? :)

click on add..
proxy label : DaveN-uk :) ( or anything you like)

now you have 3 choices:

a) FILE : you can load in a text file of proxies
b) URL : this checks any given URL and loads the proxies into it
c) ADD : which just adds a proxies to the list ( this is the option you will use ;) )

Change proxy every ( ) seconds make that something sensible like 300

then save

on the toolbar you can select DaveN-uk

repeat above with DaveN-de, Daven-US ... etc
