Morning all

Can anyone give me some tips on what are the most important things to think about when optimising for Mirago? Is there another search engine to which their algorithm is comparable?

Thanks in advance for your replies

I don't think anyone really optimises solely for Mirago, its more a case of a good stategy for Inktomi/Yahoo and Google will give solid performance on Mirago and the number of referrals really doesn't warrant any more work.

We are noticing a large increase in Mirago hits. Without a doubt worth submitting to. Their free submit is a small link on the submission options page - it is there! But get in free while you can as they are putting a lot of effort into their PFI (pay for inclusion) range.

That's what I like about Mirago, they are product focused and innovative. If only Google were the same, but their product innovation in index search seems to be sadly limited to Adwords.

Back to the question, as Ian says, best optimise for inktomi and you'll be fine. Dont forget to submit though, and monitor your crawls.
