Quick question...

How does one determine the commerical value of offering a link on a UK web site with a Google PR of 7.

Any pointers...

Sticky on the way, whatever way you go be careful about who you link to, get it wrong and you could kill your site.

Yep, its the old <dumb>Don't link to bad neighbourhoods</dumb> scenario.

Also linking to off topic sites 'may' cause problems.

Sounds like being stuck between a rock and a hard place. The rock being pay for inclusion and the hard place being paid advertising. The fragility of Google's PR would make paying for anything that has a current PR of n a high risk short term venture for any sane SEO or website operator.

The value of PR7 is limited in that it can fluctuate from Google Dance to Google Dance. Unless you back it up with some traffic based reason for inclusion or paying for the link, it may not be viable. It seems to be that it is a narrow market product aimed more at SEOs than the general public.
