starting to show up on the radar yet?

First the Registar & the Guardian and now hitting SEM news sources. It seems that freesearch.co.uk [freesearch.co.uk] is having a nice little media blitz. I know it's still brand spanking new, but is anybody seeing it show up in their log files yet?

Nothing seen yet, but then again its so new I haven't added it into the log analyser yet.

No reason why it shouldn't do well though, nice layout solid results (Overture + Inktomi), good response time - the dictionary feature is also innovative.

Agree with Ian....the site is the fastest I have seen all year, nice one. I suppose Overture must have some seriously fast machines. A server farms full of beasts!

Yes, it could be quicker if some of the whitespace was removed from the pages too.

I wonder if it's cached results actually, cos I doubt the technology they are using would search faster than Google! Or maybe it does! Great image search too.

Certainly not cached - The Overture element certainly isn't, it is live - so none of it is.

Just quick and clean.

Actually very simple to cache from search result suppliers, and so subtly that the user can never tell.

The only thing I don't like, (and I always try and find things I don't like after the things I do) is the fact that you can't easily submit your url, or have I missed something!

Good to see another UK engine, UK Based. Looks like the UK has some great entrepreneurs which can only be a good thing IMO.

Top and bottom listings those with the infinite symbol beside them are overture, the free listing below these look like they are INK not overture

So what you are saying is that its pure OV. I have never bothered to look at the deep serps on overture, so their algo must be similar to ink.
Well at least I am in good company Ian Turner also thought it was ink.

It is 5 OV, followed by YINK I believe.
