My main domain is a .com. However, it is predominantly a UK based site. Problem is that pages don't appear in serps if a 'only search pages from the UK' search is performed.
Do the likes of Google (MSN & AV) base their result on whether the domain has a .co.uk or a .com extension? Or is there a way to enable my results to appear in UK searches?
[ I guess what I'm trying to find out is if there is another way around this other than setting up a mirror .co.uk extension, which I would much prefer not to do. ]
Bonus
eg.
co.uk will probably be listed in a UK only search.
.com hosted in the UK will probably get listed on a UK search.
.com hosted outside the UK will probably not get listed in UK search.
first question is the site hosted in the UK, there are many factors that make up geotargetting for the UK searches engines,
