I don't believe that it is definite that Yahoo will be using Inktomi at all yet. I have heard rumours for Fast being used as well. Certainly I would think that it is a better option; Fast is a better SE by a mile, IMHO, and is far less used than Inktomi by other portals.

I am in the process of doing the paid inclution with Inktomi and they guy I have been dealing with has said that this is definatly happening.

He said some regions are being done now and US will be the last, but should all be done by March next year.

i do hope that if yahoo.co.uk moves over to ink they do something with the results.

we are nowhere to be seen on ink as it stands and could lose a large chunk of traffic if it switches over - argh!
