What other aspects should I review and attend to?

Good rankings in Google, where next...

I am based in the UK and at the moment I have places 1 and 2 for my search terms on Google but would like to get better rankings on Freeserve, Inktomi, etc. Trouble is, where do you start nowadays?

My listings are as follows:

Yahoo = 2 (Directory listing)
Altavista = 5 (After sponsored listings)
Inktomi Pure Search = 37
Overture = 37
Alltheweb = 73!
Freeserve = 78! (All the Web results)
Freeserve = 59 (UK Sites only)
MSN.co.uk = 32
Lycos.co.uk = 45

I get quite a lot of traffic from Google but feel that I must be losing traffic from the above search engines. I have never used PFI or PPC (except an Adwords campaign to start with) and am now looking to expand into the other UK search engines, any ideas?

PPC with overture well help a lot.

Free traffic Via Msn though INktomi (that's were I would start).

Thanks Dave,

Do you mean optimise for Inktomi/MSN, sorry I'm a little bit unsure as to what you mean...

Inktomi is very page aware and onsite, unlike Google which is very site aware and off page.

OK, think I have optimised a little better for Inktomi, I would still like to be listed higher in Freeserve though. Any ideas besides Overture PPC?

Thankyou in advance...
